PDA Midwest Operational Excellence/Optimization Event
Thursday, September 7th 2017
7734 Terrance Ave
Middleton, WI 53562
Please join the PDA Midwest for our first dinner meeting in the greater Madison, Wisconsin area at Capital Brewery. During the networking portion of the evening, we will break into smaller groups and have a tour of Capital Brewery followed by a tasting. After the presentation is complete, there will be live music at the 1500 seat outdoor Bier Garten.
Title of Presentation: GLOBAL ELECTRONIC INTERVENTION SYSTEM
This presentation will describe the establishment of an integrated Aseptic Manipulation and Intervention Program, which establishes the requirements for identifying, assessing, and executing the development and deployment of an Intervention Logging System, which allows for real-time electronic documentation of manipulations, coded interventions and non-coded interventions. Additionally, to ensure data integrity the presentation will discuss the use of RFID technology for Electronic Signature for activities performed at the line. Collectively, these provide quantifiable information that helps mitigate the risk of personnel-induced microbial hazard of products filled in aseptic environments. The discussion of this program, along with several examples of how the data can be used to make quality decisions, will provide attendees with ideas of how microbiology process controls work together to provide evaluation of sterility assurance and data integrity.
